During this mobility in Metkovic, we will carry out various activities for the discovery of the Adriatic Sea, in order to raise students' awareness of the marine environment and its protection.
In addition, students will discover the ancient local traditions, history, architecture (old towns, castles, monuments, towers, ancient and modern harbours) and lifestyles in these environments - fishing, shellfishing, salt production, shipbuilding, hunting, etc. Intercultural admiration and respect.
Through interdisciplinary and international workshops, students will acquire not only knowledge but also experiences that will transform their lives, creating new perspectives on life; learning in a motivated way to experiment, explore, debate and draw personal conclusions on specific topics.
In addition, host and guest students will be in mixed groups to improve communication and problem-solving skills in English; to build relationships outside their local environment and to foster cohesive intercultural cooperation.
